Prosaro : The new standard for Septoria control in wheat
Septoria control is the most critical husbandry task if optimum yield of wheat is to be achieved.
Prosaro is a specially designed highly active triazole which provides a robust and effective solution for septoria control in wheat.
Prosaro was launched in 2005 as a premium product for septoria control. Trials in 2003 and 2004 had demonstrated its superiority over the current standard, epoxiconazole.
Commercial and trials experience in 2005 has confirmed its status. Consistently in high pressure disease situations Prosaro delivers a yield premium which is highly cost effective. In trials where single products are used at label rates Prosaro again produces the best margin over input cost.
In programme trials results in 2005 Prosaro again delivered a consistent performance in terms of disease control and yield improvement.
Timing: Prosaro should be applied at full flag leaf emergence.
Application Rate: Prosaro should be applied at a rate of 1.0 – 1.2L/ha.
